Duties: Service and increase the sales in the existing account base in your assigned territory. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities with current and new customers to meet assigned sales and profitability goals. Be prepared to invest time each day to develop new retail customers. This requires identifying new prospects and building potential relationships. Visit customers in your territory on an 8 week itinerary to present new product introductions. Respond and resolve customer service requests with the assistance of the customer service department. Escalate larger service issues to sales management so Giftcraft may proactively address concerns. Transmit orders nightly with the use of your iPad based sales tool. Some overnight travel may be required along with daily travel throughout your territory. This is not an office job. You are expected to be in the field generating sales on a daily basis. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree, College Diploma or equivalent industry experience is preferred. Industry experience an asset Strong work ethic Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills. A demonstrated capacity to keep abreast of marketplace trends, retailer needs and possible application to new business development. Ability to work from a home office and have reliable transportation. Ability to use technology and analysis tools (iPad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). These invaluable coaching and mentoring sessions are on-going with more advanced sales techniques taught. In addition, Giftcraft Territory Sales Representatives assemble bi-annually at our National Sales Meetings. These meeting provide an opportunity for in-depth training facilitated by members of the Giftcraft Senior Leadership Team and engaging keynote speakers. These meetings also provide Territory Sales Representatives the chance to view the Giftcraft product lines in our award-winning 18,000 square foot showroom. This allows for Territory Sales Representatives to more effectively communicate the features and benefits of the products to their customers when presenting the product lines on sales calls. The bi-annual National Sales Meetings also afford the benefit of networking and building relationships with counterparts from across the country, as well as members of the Giftcraft Home Office Team. In return for this investment in training we only ask that our Territory Sales Representatives demonstrate a self-motivated drive to succeed and implements the knowledge, tools and resources received at the National Sales Meetings when returning to the field.
