Job Description:/h3:
OPPORTUNITY
As a Plant Manager, you would:
:Assure plant compliance to SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices.
:Review daily production schedule and activities to meet customer needs.
:Initiate process changes to improve production efficiency.
:Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
:Facilitate the introduction of new products, equipment and services into Production activities.
:Work with SQRA to schedule and complete all employee training required by regulatory agencies and/or company policies.
:Participate in all incident investigations and customer complaints, providing corrective and preventative action as requested.
:Identify and communicate operational process improvement and/or cost reduction activities to Management.
:Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health and safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your manager. Must be RCRA compliant.
:Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
:Guides employee performance and development through the use of daily communication and annual performance evaluations.
:Uphold the companies Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS
:High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree in business, science or engineering related vocation preferred.
:Minimum five years chemical experience with supervisory or management experience.in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
:Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with employees and management.
:Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
:Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
:Ability to sit and/or stand up to 10 hours per day.
:Ability to climb ladders and stairways up to 50 feet on occasion.
:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Several times daily.
:Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day. Please refer to the SOP for facial hair guidelines.
:Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited.
