Job Summary: The Wind Farm Site Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of site technicians to deliver turbine operation and maintenance services that optimize wind farm performance. This experienced and dynamic team leader will oversee technician job performance and is accountable for achievement of Key Performance Indicators, managing wind farm site operations and budget, meeting environmental, health and safety objectives. The Site Manager is a customer facing position responsible for building trust and loyalty.
:Manage the wind farm site operations P/L and budget, including planning, work order progress and completion, and cost management to ensure that work is completed effectively, within budget and on time.
:Direct and manage site technicians to safely and effectively perform maintenance services on wind turbine generators using a Right First Time approach to completion of work.
:Provide effective leadership that aligns, engages and motivates the wind farm site team to achieve the results outlined in all relevant Key Performance Indicators and Operational Objectives.
:Communicate the companys vision, mission, values and culture to the team; lead and develop the team to demonstrate those values in their daily job performance (excellence, continuous improvement, health and safety, adherence to protocol and procedures).
:Monitor individual and team performance, conduct job reviews, identify areas for performance improvement including recommendations for professional development and training.
:Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with customers and internal partners (Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality, Business Excellence Unit, Services Engineering, Warehouse, etc.).
:Manage the customer accounting including: Ensuring prompt response to customer requests, compliance with the customers service contract, regular and thorough communication of site status and performance.
:Provide accurate and timely daily, weekly and monthly wind farm performance and maintenance updates and reports to the customer.
:Manage the implementation Gamesas required safety procedures and protocols; Ensure that all team members are fully trained and perform their job in strict compliance with the companys environmental, health and safety standards.
