Weekends will also be required with two days off during the week. Job Summary: Under close supervision the Suddenlink CCR I : Tech Support agent answers in:bound calls to service and retain residential customers and to identify other Suddenlink Communications products and services for existing customers by educating the customer and maximizing customer opportunities. Responsibilities:Provides quality customer service surrounding the Company valuesGreets and serves customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalismAssists customers in troubleshooting and resolving issues with company productsAssists customers in resolving data:related issues with complex provisioning, home networking, e:mail and static IP issues and other high:speed data inquiriesDetermines customer needs in order to sell or upgrade Suddenlink servicesIdentify other products and services for new or existing customers by maximizing sales opportunitiesPromotes and executes current marketing campaign informationEnsures customers understand operating requirements of all productsEstablish customer accounts using the applicable billing systemExplains bills and Company policies and procedures concerning prices, billing and serviceInsures revenue goals are met and exceeded by identifying the added values and benefits of products and servicesAccesses customer databases or other electronic files and/or paper reference material to locate customer records and research account historyAccurately and effectively enters pertinent information to customer account including credits, payment and billing informationMay contact customers regarding Company servicesCompletes required learning for CCR IPerforms other duties as assignedEssential Functions:Regular attendance during scheduled shiftsAbility to use a keyboardAbility to use a computer and standard office equipmentAbility to effectively communicate by telephoneAbility to read, write and communicate orallyMust self:promote to a CCR II within 9 months of hireQualifications / Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to multi:taskAbility to work independently and with othersProficiency with company billing systemProficiency with system:related toolsProficiency with Windows:based computerProficiency with MAC:based computer preferredKeyboarding skillsPreferred
