Correct Care Recovery Solutions operates the Texas Civil Commitment Center and delivers treatment to the residents detained at the facility.If you hold an active Texas license (or are eligible for a Texas license) as a Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.), we have a wonderful opportunity for you to expand your skills and earn new credentials Upon hire, you will receive appropriate training to obtain the Affiliate Sex Offender Treatment Professional (ASOTP) designation, and work with highly:regarded professionals in this growing field. Prior Clinical Therapy experience is required, and your training counts. Relocation or Signing Bonus available We can accomodate non:standard hours in many situations. Education:Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related human services field from an accredited programExperience:Prior clinical experience working with sexual offenders, or experience working in a secure environment strongly preferredInterest in treating the sexual offender population Ability to assess treatment goals and write goal:directed, individualized treatment plans, as well as the ability to monitor and document individual behavior patterns and modify treatment plans to meet changing treatment goalsFamiliarity with the diagnostic nomenclature outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical ManualAppreciation of the need for and ability to maintain appropriate personal boundaries in working with sexual offender populationsAbility to form and maintain good working relationships with a diverse staff and a commitment to enhancing cultural competencyAbility to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the departmentLicenses/Certifications:Affiliate or Clinical member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) is helpful, but not required. Must hold license as Psychologist (LCP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Texas. Training provided for obtaining ASOTP to begin treating the populationOur Clinical Therapist provides sex offender:specific and related treatment services to residents of a secure facility.
